Overall Opinion:

I’m sad to say, this detox tea didn’t impress me at all.

The only thing I like about it, is their cute packaging.

To start off, you need to drink 3 cups per day, which is really inconvenient.  Also, when you drink 3 cups per day, the bag of tea only lasts 6-7 days, not the 14 that is advertised.

The tea is loose leaf, which makes it harder to work with.

Higher Tea Detox Tea doesn’t taste good at all.  It’s pretty bland, and has an earthy taste that I don’t care for.  I can’t really describe the taste, other than it’s not pleasant.

I didn’t see any positive results or “detox” effects.  The only effect I experienced was completely cleaning out my bowels from using the bathroom so often.

And to top it off, they don’t even have a return policy, let alone a money back guarantee.

So overall, this detox tea really let me down.

Detailed Opinion:

Ease of Use

This detox tea isn’t the easiest to use.

For starters, you need to drink at least 3 cups per day! Talk about inconvenient.

This is a loose-leaf tea, and it doesn’t come with an infuser.  The tea itself is kinda chunky and hard to scoop out of the bag.  I found it to be very messy and it’d get all over the place.

Also, online they claim this is a 14-day supply, but when you’re drinking at least 3 cups per day, the bag only lasts about 6-7 days tops.

You can drink Higher Tea Detox Tea at anytime throughout the day as it’s caffeine free, which is a small perk.  Although, since you need to drink 3 cups per day, you don’t really have a choice but to drink them morning, afternoon, and night.

Taste

I don’t enjoy the taste of Higher Tea Detox Tea.

I don’t know how to describe the tea other than earthy, musty, and bland.  It has a flavor I don’t care for.  (I think it must be the fennel seed.)

I didn’t look forward to drinking this tea at all… especially 3 times per day.

Ingredient Analysis

Now, this tea doesn’t contain the harsh laxative Senna Leaf, but it does contain almost every other mild laxative.  Okay, I’m exaggerating, but it does have 3 mild laxatives in it, which when combined can give a strong laxative effect. So it might as well just contain Senna Leaf.

I’m okay with one mild laxative here and there, but 3 is just too many in my opinion.

The 3 laxatives it contains are Burdock Root, Dandelion Root, and Milk Thistle Seed.  All have been researched and can potentially have laxative effects.

In addition to those 3 ingredients, it also contains Barberry Root, which is said to treat and prevent infections.  This is an interesting ingredient that I haven’t heard of before now. In my research, it said not to use Barberry Root for more than a week, so this ingredient is a little scary as well.

Results

Unfortunately, I didn’t see any positive results while using this tea.

I actually felt pretty unhealthy while using this tea.  That’s probably because I was drinking so much tea and constantly using the restroom due to the laxative effect.

I didn’t notice any weight loss (besides the water weight I lost from my digestive system being messed up).  I gained that back immediately after stopping this tea.

I also didn’t feel less bloated while using this tea.

This one really let me down in the results department.

Side Effects

I was SO exhausted while using this tea.

It’s probably a mix of two things: 1) this tea doesn’t contain any caffeine, and 2) my body was stripped of all essential nutrients due to how often I was using the bathroom.

Price/Value

Higher Tea Detox Tea is $1.33 per serving, which works out to $4.00 per day.  That’s one of the most expensive detox teas out there!

Guarantee

No, I couldn’t find any guarantee or even return policy through their website.  That was a major let down.
